Job summary

Qualifications

• Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships, and working with customers.
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word, and Excel is a plus.

• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers by asking the magic question: what can I help you find today?
• Maintain the department and aisles you are responsible for on a daily basis.
• Ensure that the department you are responsible for is performing to the expectations of the Store Manager.
• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service following the S.A.L.E.S process and by mystery shop standards.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
• Execute daily operational tasks and priorities assigned by store management.
• Assist in training and development of peers.
• Participate in daily huddle meetings.
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
• Assist with processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock area clean and organized.
• Be aware of and respond to safety issues.
• Help customers locate items in-store and online, and process special orders.
• Encourage customers to open an Ace Rewards card.
