Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Customer Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver materials to customers and branches in a timely, professional manner. You will build positive relationships while ensuring accurate material delivery and reliable service.

Key requirements include 2 years of driving with a 20 ft box truck, ability to pass a DOT physical, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Hours are 7am–4pm.

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience with a 20 ft. box truck.
• Must pass the DOT physical.
• No traffic violations or license suspensions for one year.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Check material in staging area and load truck.
• Create shipping manifests.
• Perform truck maintenance inspections.
• Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branches.
• Drive truck defensively to various locations.
• Unload and place material as requested by customers.
• Provide good customer service.
• Pick-up customer returns; unload truck.
• Follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Be on time and multi-task to complete daily tasks.
