Job summary

Watershed is seeking analytically minded early-career candidates to join the Customer Data Services team in a fixed-term role starting January 2027. Open to candidates with up to 2 years of experience who enjoy turning complex data into actionable insights for Fortune 500 customers.

You will transform client data into Watershed templates, ensuring data quality and facilitating informed business decisions. Office-based in SF/NY with potential remote options noted in job description.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience with large data files in Excel.
• Python or SQL is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and able to clean, structure, and trust data.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Customer empathy and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Clean and transform customer data into Watershed templates.
• Collaborate with customers to understand raw data and best practices.
• Explain data issues to customers, including impact and trade-offs.
• Apply data cleaning best practices with sound judgment.
• Document decisions for traceability during verifications.
• Synthesize feedback to drive continuous improvement and product development.
