Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. is seeking a Customer Relations/Operations professional in Carson, CA to oversee daily unit duties, handle issues, and ensure consistent customer guidance.

You will collaborate across functions to improve the shopping experience, support co-worker development, and drive sales while upholding IKEA's service standards. Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of related experience and a year in customer service, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver

• 3 years of related experience.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations that are assigned by the Team Leader, including opening and/or closing duties for the unit which also include key and alarm code responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, access, etc.
• Enhance the shopping journey of our visitors to IKEA by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge.
• Ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey.
• Record information in the relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience.
• Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability by understanding IKEA's product range and services.
• When needed, offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers.
• Forge a team mindset centered around first time right for every customer, ensuring a positive customer journey.
• Take part in additional department responsibilities to secure the daily operation for co-workers and customers.
• Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

JOB TYPE – Permanent

HOURS - Full time

The pay range for this role is $23.23- $32.82

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.


• 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (1-50lbs).
