Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in the United States is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to support shoppers with accurate transactions, returns, and services during the handover process. You will help create positive experiences and build loyalty.

This hourly role offers a flexible 12-20 hour weekly schedule, benefits eligibility, and opportunities to contribute to a welcoming IKEA shopping journey while developing customer-focused skills in a diverse team.

• 1 year sales or customer service experience preferred.

• Provides customers with a smooth handout experience during Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO) and promotes services.
• Provides the customer with a smooth returns and exchanges experience, while collecting high quality data for follow-up.

What you'll be doing day to day

• Creates a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate transactions and/or orders. Records information accurately so the resulting analysis can be used to make improvements to customers' future shopping experience.
• Meets customers' needs, solves problems independently, and recognizes when to escalat
• Builds loyalty by ensuring a positive customer journey during the IKEA shopping experience.
• Builds emotional connections through meaningful and empathetic interactions with customers.
• Provides customers with a simple and efficient handout experience when scheduled in Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO). Offers and sells services to customers during the handover process when needed.
• Provides the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience, while collecting high quality data for follow‑up when scheduled in returns.

The pay range for this role is $17.58 to $24.83
