Responsibilities

• Help customers discover items and answer questions.
• Inform customers of specials and recommend grocery items.
• Check product quality and expiry dates; take appropriate action.
• Stock, label, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers in-store.
• Maintain safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report repairs.
