Job summary

Kroger is seeking a part-time Grocery Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in-store. You will assist customers, stock and price goods, and ensure product freshness and safety. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and a helpful, friendly attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk helps customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Grocery Clerk informs customers of food specials and recommends items to ensure customer needs are met.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep temperature logs.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with diverse customers.
