As a frontline team member, you’ll engage with customers, manage efficient checkout services, and maintain a safe, clean store while adhering to policies and maintaining accuracy in transactions.

Qualifications

• Cash register operation with basic tender policies.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to learn new technology systems quickly.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accuracy and high attention to detail.
• Be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register at all times.
• Memorize product codes and stay updated on ads and specials.
• Follow tender policies for checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, etc.
• Greet customers and respond to questions and complaints.
• Promote enrollment in Thank You Card program.
• Bag groceries properly and ensure receipt of all items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary shopping environment.
• Adhere to laws on sale of restricted items when applicable.
