Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a friendly front-end associate to engage customers, operate the checkout, bag groceries, locate products, and maintain price accuracy while upholding a safe, clean store environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Certification where applicable (TABC/LACT).

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate register money and tender procedures.
• Assist customers, answer questions, locate and promote products.
• Promote enrollment in Thank You Card program and assist signup.
• Bag groceries properly, avoid cross-contamination, ensure receipt of items.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and follow safety procedures.
• Comply with laws on restricted items (tobacco, alcohol, cannabis).
