Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a front-end associate to perform cashiering and customer service duties while ensuring shelves are stocked and properly displayed. You will help maintain a convenient, friendly shopping experience for our local community in Tyler, Texas.

Responsibilities include accurate checkout operations, adherence to safety standards, and assisting customers with product locations. Growth opportunities and a supportive team environment are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+; operates department machinery as needed.
• 21+ to drive Company business per policy.
• TABC/LACT/AATC cert required.
• Food Handler cert required.
• Fuel Operator C cert required.

Responsibilities

• Process checkout totals accurately and maintain correct cash count.
• Ensure products are stocked, displayed, and rotated properly.
• Unload trucks and place delivered items in designated areas.
• Maintain safety procedures and comply with quality standards.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and help locate products.
• Report process improvement opportunities to management.
• Maintain fuel station and equipment as per Company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary shopping environment.
