Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items.
• Cleans and stocks front end areas and registers.
• Follows cash handling procedures and regional policies.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Assists supervisor in managing customer flow and reducing wait times.
• Participates in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Arrives on time and prepared for shifts and trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
