Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Customer Service & E-Commerce Team Member to assist customers at checkout, operate cash registers, bag groceries, and support the customer service desk. You will help maintain attractive service displays and uphold the company’s vision of courteous, friendly, and efficient service while following SOPs.

This role emphasizes a strong customer focus, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety standards as part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Patience in dealing with customers and Team Members.
• Proficiency with the Cashier Code Book and PLUs.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Clear, effective communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers and teammates.
• Ability to follow directions, procedures, and maintain time management.

Responsibilities

• Check out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Uphold regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follow proper cashier procedures for checks, ATMs, and credits.
• Maintain front-end areas and register; replace tapes and ribbons as needed.
• Follow cash handling procedures and meet regional cashier variance policy.
