Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly cashier to assist customers at the front end, operate register stations, bag groceries, and maintain clean, attractive displays. This role supports the Customer Service & E-Commerce team and upholds health, safety, and quality standards across shifts.

You will interact with customers, practice polite communication, and help manage lines during peak periods while following store procedures and brand values. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 6–8 hours.
• Demonstrates patience and provides friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcohol and taxation.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas and registers.
• Provides excellent customer service and suggests additional products.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and follows health and sanitation practices.
