Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Follow policies on cash shortages/overages and loss control.
• Adhere to guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for stamps, gift cards, coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions and follow safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues calmly.
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
