Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous banking or cash handling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and refer products within other bank lines by maintaining knowledge of personal and business products.
• Answer incoming calls, whether externally or internally.
• Greet customers entering the office in a professional, courteous manner.
• Provide account services: deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, savings withdrawals, night and mail deposits, official checks.
• Complete requests such as checks orders, foreign currency exchange, and safe-deposit box procedures.
• Verify endorsements, obtain proper ID, ensure validity and detect counterfeit currency.
• Balance cash drawer multiple times daily as required by policy.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
