Responsibilities

• Cashes checks and disburses funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds to support withdrawals.
• Evaluates checks to verify endorsements, dates, identification of persons receiving payments, bank names, and legality of documents.
• Prepares, verifies, and issues cashier’s checks, bank money orders, etc.
• Balances all monies in cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Maintains a work area that ensures safety of negotiables and confidential records.
• Performs credit and debit transactions and regulatory requirements like CTRs.
• Keeps proper cash supply and secures teller area per policies.
• Verifies Night Depository envelopes and maintains transaction logs.
• Provides customer service, opening accounts, cross-selling products, and referrals.
• Explains product benefits and requirements to clients.
• Cross-sells and refers to other lines of business; supports onboarding campaigns.
• Delivers excellent customer service to bank clients.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
