Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member to help customers, locate products, and provide solutions. You will ensure a fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling, promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store.

The role includes stocking, planograms, merchandise recovery, and participation in SISO and safety programs, with cross-training in Custom Framing. Positive, team-focused service is essential.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to engage customers and explain store programs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in stock, planograms, and merchandise recovery activities.
• Support store in-stock optimization and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain a positive store environment.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
