Job summary

Consumers Credit Union is seeking a Contact Center Representative to join our Lake Forest-based team. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for members, answering questions about accounts, loans, online banking and more, delivering friendly, accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a standard Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with no late evenings and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of work experience; customer service, call center, retail or related preferred.
• High proficiency with computer systems/software applications.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Enjoy fast-paced work with accuracy.
• Self-directed and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Assist members over the phone with questions about credit union products and services.
• Provide prompt, positive and informative service to members.
• Meet or exceed individual service and productivity goals with a one-stop resolution.
• Utilize multiple sources and modes of communication for updates and changes.
• Communicate with other CCU departments to resolve inquiries quickly.
