Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in New Jersey is seeking a Customer Service/Order Entry specialist to maintain accounts and liaise with customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong communication, basic quantitative skills, and proficiency with Excel and CRM systems. You will review delivery schedules, process orders, track shipments, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience required.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite basic to above-average Excel skills.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Professional verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with customers by communicating and resolving issues.
• Responsible for order entry and/or maintenance for assigned accounts.
• Review plant delivery schedules versus requested dates and resolves any conflicts.
• Communicate order confirmations, changes and cancellations to customers and internal teams.
• Inform sales and operations of unresolved service issues and recommend corrective action.
• Review orders after shipment for billing accuracy and any quantity item errors.
• Manage credits, return authorizations and pallet returns.
• Review inventory usage on stocked items and flag untracked items.
• Ensure customer complaints are resolved with supervisor guidance as needed.
• Communicate with Planners, Sales, Pricing and Plant Management.
• Prepare inventory and open order reports for management and customers.
• Process plant claims including deductions for shortages and quality issues.
• File customer paperwork such as shipping docs or orders promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
