Job summary

Black Hills Energy is seeking a Customer Contact Center role in a fast-paced environment. You will respond to customer inquiries, research data, and ensure accurate service resolution. The position emphasizes clear communication and timely problem solving.

Required are a High School Diploma and strong English skills; Spanish is a plus. You will work various shifts, complete training, and contribute to a positive customer experience while supporting company growth and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• General computer knowledge and ability to navigate data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and requests for service by researching, analyzing, entering, verifying data and taking appropriate action.
• Handle emergency contacts with accuracy and urgency.
• Aim for first contact resolution by reviewing accounts and meeting customer needs while minimizing company risk.
• Complete order entry and order completion of work orders.
• Promote the company’s products, programs and services.
• Demonstrate effective time utilization and be a team player.
