Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a call center environment is required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, insurance lines of business, and sales techniques.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; proficiency with computers.
• Ability to adapt to new policies and changes while aligning with company culture.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound inquiries regarding insurance coverage submitted by members.
• Assist clients with enrollment processes and servicing policies.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on prospects and service questions.
• Prepare memorandums and letters related to sales and service inquiries.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and carriers; explain products and policies clearly.

As a Customer Care Representative, you will be part of the Customer Service Department supporting the insurance services team. Hours of Operation: 8am-8pm
Onsite Schedule: 6 weeks in office for training; up to 5 times per month after training

• Respond to inbound inquiries regarding insurance coverage submitted by association members through various channels
• Assist clients with enrollment processes and servicing policies effectively
• Make outbound calls to follow up on prospects, telemarketing efforts, and service questions requiring research
• Perform administrative tasks such as preparing memorandums and letters related to sales and service inquiries
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and carriers, providing detailed explanations of products and policies
