Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Must have strong problem solving ability.
• Excellent math skills are essential.
• Ability to understand new information for problem solving and decision making.
• Knowledge of customer and personal services principles and processes.
• Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Blue Beam, internet research and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information, take orders, or obtain details of complaints.
• Check to ensure changes were made to resolve customers’ problems.
• Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, complaints, or comments.
• Maintain relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales staff as directed.
• Enter orders and manage all aspects of order entry.
• Provide proactive shipping information to customers.
• Work to solve customer problems under direction of manager.
• Fulfill all aspects of customer service as directed by the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
