Job summary

Xpress Global Systems (XGS) is seeking a Customer Care Operations role to provide administrative and customer service support to Service Center Operations. Respond to inquiries, assist will call customers, and prepare operations reports in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and a customer-centric approach, with duties including data entry, coordinating routes and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Warehouse and WMS experience preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Dispatching experience preferred.
• Forklift certification a plus
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Service Center Operations.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
• Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints.
• Interface with customers via telephone, e-mail, web, and in person.
• Coordinate routes, deliveries and pick-ups; assist in driver route assignments.
• May dispatch drivers and assist in driver scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and Federal/State regulations.
• Perform data entry and prepare standard reports.
