Overview

Nautic Partners, LLC completed its acquisition of the Specialty Tapes business from Berry Global Group, Inc., rebranding the company as Vybond. As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.

Responsibilities

The Key Accounts Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing all questions, concerns, and issues. By collaborating with all functional areas of the corporation, the specialist ensures that customer requirements are met or exceeded, while aligning with the Company’s goals and objectives. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, monitoring order patterns and service levels, and implementing improvements as necessary. The Key Accounts Specialist will work closely with Sales and other departments to foster and strengthen relationships with key accounts.

This is a remote position. We are currently not accepting applicants from Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Rhode Island or Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and promptly process all incoming calls, orders, requests for information, complaints, and other inquiries for assigned accounts by effectively utilizing appropriate resources.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the sales department, marketing, pricing, and production teams to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with all internal and external customers regarding their needs, order activity, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor open order reports diligently to identify and address any issues, communicating these to internal teams and customers as necessary.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer-specific software and internal process flows to enhance service delivery.
  • Actively participate in department and team meetings, contributing insights and updates.
  • Organize and lead meetings with customers or internal teams as required to address and resolve customer needs effectively.
  • Perform additional activities as required by the customer, Sales team, and other departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing-related customer service is required.
  • 4-year undergraduate degree preferred or a combination of related training, education, and experience.
  • Strong familiarity with industry-standard ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • EDI experience is a plus.
  • Excellent phone communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Team player with minimal travel requirements.
Office Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and operate a computer keyboard.
  • Occasional visits to other plant facilities where temperatures and noise levels may vary.

Compensation: $52,000 to $55,000 annually. Salary: Exempt role.
