Overview

Nautic Partners, LLC completed its acquisition of the Specialty Tapes business from Berry Global Group, Inc., rebranding the company as Vybond. As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across various industries including HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, and automotive.

Responsibilities

The Key Accounts Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing questions, concerns, and issues. Collaborating with all functional areas of the company, the specialist ensures customer requirements are met or exceeded, aligning with company goals. Responsibilities include processing customer orders accurately and promptly, monitoring order patterns and service levels, and implementing improvements. The role involves working closely with Sales and other departments to foster strong relationships with key accounts.

This is a remote position; we are not accepting applicants from Colorado, California, New York, and Washington at this time. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Rhode Island or Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all incoming calls, orders, requests for information, complaints, and inquiries for assigned accounts efficiently using appropriate resources.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, pricing, and production teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain proactive communication with internal and external customers regarding their needs, order status, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor open order reports regularly to identify and address issues, communicating with internal teams and customers as needed.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of customer-specific software and internal processes to improve service delivery.
  • Participate actively in department and team meetings, providing insights and updates.
  • Lead meetings with customers or internal teams when necessary to resolve issues effectively.
  • Perform additional activities as required to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to excellence.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing-related customer service is essential.
  • A 4-year undergraduate degree is preferred or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Strong familiarity with industry-standard ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365, including report generation.
  • EDI experience is a plus.
  • Excellent phone communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and Microsoft Teams.
  • Proficiency in software programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
Office Working Conditions and Ergonomic Details
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk in front of a computer screen and perform keyboarding tasks.
  • Occasional visits to other plant facilities where conditions may vary in temperature and noise levels.

Compensation: $52,000 to $55,000 annually. Salary is for an exempt role.
