Job summary

USABlueBook, a division of HD SUPPLY, seeks a customer service associate in Atlanta to support product inquiries and orders. You will manage knowledge of thousands of products, respond to calls, emails, and faxes, and work to meet service goals while maintaining strong product and catalog knowledge.

Ideal candidates have HS Diploma or GED and 0-2 years of experience, with proficiency in Outlook/Word/Excel and experience in high-volume call centers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• High-volume call-center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer orders and quotations received via telephone, email, written, and faxed correspondence within department service goals.
• Performs follow-up to ensure customer service expectations are met and supports profitable growth and sales initiatives.
• Researches and suggests alternative products to customers; represents products to increase sales where appropriate.
• Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
• Resolves customer issues including issuance of credit concessions.
• Refers complex, non-standard problems to supervisor.
