We are currently seeking a Customer Care Associate to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska (US-NE), United States (US).

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.

Pay for this role is $15.50/hr.

Basic Qualifications:
  1. 6 months experience in an office environment
  2. 6 months experience using a computer with Microsoft Windows PC applications
  3. 6 months of work-from-home environment
  4. High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Responsibilities:
  1. Previous insurance industry experience involving life insurance and annuity policies, handling calls from members inquiring about payments, policy information, or claims
  2. Designated quiet area to complete calls while working from home
  3. Providing front-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers
  4. Ensuring customer satisfaction and striving to meet service standards
  5. Handling between 75 to 100 calls daily
  6. Communicating effectively and professionally with internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues
  7. Developing and maintaining knowledge of the insurance industry, products, services, and processes
  8. Collaborating with management and team members to address service issues proactively
  9. At least 6 months of experience requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  10. At least 6 months of experience communicating effectively in a professional setting

Additional requirements include:

  • A working device (cell phone or tablet) for 2-Factor Authentication
  • Successful completion of our Call Center training classes and proficiency demonstration
  • Passing a drug screen
  • Passing background, education, and employment verification checks

Required schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm CT; Saturday mornings (rotating) 8:00 am to 12:00 pm CT.
