Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in San Luis Obispo is hiring a Senior Customer Assistance Representative for a full-time, on-site role at the airport. The CAR Sr will deliver high-level service to internal and external customers, guiding them through rental needs and related processes, backed by local training.

You will handle the rental counter, explain terms, upsell protections and options, and assist with vehicle returns. The position requires a valid driver's license, 18+, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid unrestricted Driver's License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience (retail, customer facing preferred).
• Available to work Weekdays and Weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service by assisting customers and assessing rental needs in person and over the phone.
• Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Responsible for all aspects of the rental process (rental counter, exit booth, walking tickets, return lanes, etc.).
• Provide directions and general assistance.
• Assess condition of rental upon return.
• Process returns, check-ins and exit kiosk transactions.
• Explain rental terms and vehicle features and other services.
• Sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other equipment.
• Notify management of any known vehicle problems and maintenance needs.
• Perform miscellaneous and backup duties as assigned.
