Job description

The hourly range for this position is $12.25 to $13.00. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Customer Accounts Advisor

Aaron's Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them one step closer to ownership.

The Work
  1. Attain and maintain customers' accounts, including updating customer information in the store computer system and documenting all customer payment appointments.
  2. Make direct contact with customers who have not renewed their lease agreement(s), both through in-home visits and over the phone.
  3. Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments to customers.
  4. Assist the Customer Account Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
  5. Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
  6. Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned.
  7. Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
  8. Load, secure, and protect product in the company vehicle.
  9. Operate the company vehicle safely.
  10. Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  11. Perform any reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
  1. Must be at least 21 years old in the United States, with a valid state Driver's License and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR (driving record). In Canada, at least 18 years old.
  2. Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States).
  3. Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm.
  4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with assistance of a dolly.
  5. Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. High energy with the ability to perform all store functions and multitask effectively.
  9. Proper telephone etiquette.
  10. Uphold the Aaron's brand and protect company assets.
  11. Maintain a professional appearance.
  12. Proficient computer skills.
