Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to manage customer accounts and day-to-day order fulfillment for Missouri/Arkansas locations. You will own order management, inventory oversight, and respond to inquiries on status of accounts, orders, and shipments, aligning with sales policies and business goals.

This role offers training and development within a global packaging company prioritizing Sustainability, Safety, and Inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service or Account Management within a manufacturing environment.
• HS or GED is required; degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and the ability to learn multiple system interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, able to react within a rapidly changing environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to analyze various sources of information that are relevant to the business.
• Must have the ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accounts and develop strong customer relationships to support current and future business opportunities.
• Develop internal relationships to support timely, accurate responses to customer expectations.
• Coordinate daily delivery schedules with scheduling and shipping to ensure on-time delivery and communicate with sales, management, and the customer.
• Identify best supply chain solutions to maximize service and minimize costs.
• Track customer warehouse products and manage min/max levels; analyze monthly usages and restocking per customer.
• Address customer questions and complaints with input from sales and management as needed.
• Ensure cost-conscious pricing and margins; support accurate invoicing.
