We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Customer Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Respond to customer inquiries and service requests across multiple channels, including phone, email, and fax.
· Process orders accurately and resolve basic service issues in a timely and efficient manner.
· Support new account setup and ongoing maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
· Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing customer accounts through upselling or cross-selling.
· Generate new sales through outreach efforts, including phone calls, emails, and video meetings.
· Actively listen to customers to understand needs and position solutions, serving as a trusted advisor.
· Develop and implement strategic account plans to support long-term retention and customer satisfaction.
· Negotiate pricing and contract terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the customer.
· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute growth strategies tailored to each account.
· Analyze customer data and market trends to identify improvement opportunities.
· Provide accurate sales and revenue forecasts for assigned accounts.
· Monitor account profitability and ensure financial goals are consistently met or exceeded.
· Communicate account risks or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
· Promote company products and services, offering knowledgeable support to clients.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
· Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience (flexible) in a role involving high-level customer account management.
· Experience selling a product is required (preferably experience selling mechanical products)
· Associate degree or higher preferred.
· Proficiency with ERP experience required.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
· Highly organized, goal-driven, and persistent in pursuing results.
