Job summary

Stewart & Stevenson is hiring a Customer Account Management Supervisor at 10750 Telge Road, Houston, TX. You will lead and develop the Customer Account Management team, coordinating with Sales, Project Management, Operations, and other internal groups to ensure top-tier service across the order lifecycle.

The role emphasizes coaching, onboarding, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor- or associate-level education in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years in account management, customer service leadership, sales support, or similar roles.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial parts distribution (rail car movers, oilfield, power gen) preferred.
• CRM (Salesforce or similar) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Customer Account Managers for assigned customers, dealers, and distributors.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and staff development for product knowledge and processes.
• Prioritize daily inquiries, quotes, orders, warranty claims, and escalations for timely handling.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and drive resolution across internal teams.
• Monitor accounts for risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate quotations within pricing guidelines and maintain ERP records.
