Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial sewing.
• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines (single/double needle, serger, tackers).
• Ability to sew various fabrics, from lightweight to heavy vinyls.
• Experience reading and executing detailed plans and prints.
• Strong communication skills to engage with vendors and management.
• Trade or art school training or formal sewing education.
• Capable of performing maintenance on machines and working independently.

Responsibilities

Sew upholstery, draperies, awnings, umbrellas, weather covers, flags, pennants, and banners; set correct tension; select appropriate threads; prepare and tag products for installation; perform pattern cutting and marking; install grommets and snaps; maintain sewing equipment; work independently to complete projects on time.
