Job summary

Drape Kings is seeking a Sewing Specialist to produce high-quality drapery and related fabric products in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role requires strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet production deadlines while upholding quality standards.

You will operate industrial sewing equipment, measure and finish fabric items, inspect quality, and keep a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sewing experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial sewing machines.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

SUMMARY

The Sewist is responsible for producing high-quality custom drapery, AV-Drop skins, and other fabric products. This role requires strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production deadlines and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate industrial sewing equipment, including straight stitch and overlock.
• Measure, cut, sew, and finish fabric products according to work orders and specifications.
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship.
• Follow instructions and drawings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with fabric handling, material organization, and inventory as needed.
