Job summary

The Disneyland Resort is seeking a Custom Sewing Operator to fabricate items vital to maintaining show quality, including upholstery, draperies, awnings and banners for guest experiences. You will use industrial sewing machines and read complex patterns to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities include setting machine tension, selecting appropriate thread, and preparing products for installation with proper tagging and storage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in this trade.
• Completed trade school, art school, or formal training.
• Experience with industrial sewing equipment and varied fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Sew upholstery, draperies, awnings, umbrellas, weather covers, flags, pennants, and banners.
• Set correct tension and choose the proper thread for each product.
• Complete and prepare products for installation including tagging and storage for pickup.
