Job summary

Software Placement Group is hiring an Assembly/Machine Builder in Waterloo, IA for a first-shift, on-site role. You will construct custom machines from start to finish using drawings and blueprints, maintaining precision and safety in a low-volume production environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Degree, 1+ years in manufacturing or mechanical work, and the ability to read blueprints, operate wrenches and material handling tools, and lift up to 75 lbs. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree required.
• Read blueprints and understand mechanical drawings.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic components and 12V wiring.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand all day.
• English fluency for instructions and safety.

Responsibilities

• Build custom, made-to-order machines from drawings.
• Read prints or verbal directions to complete assembly tasks.
• Maintain attention to detail throughout the build.
• Operate safely and keep the work area organized.
• Assemble machines from start to finish in a low-volume setting.
