Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Assembly/Machine Builder in Iowa to construct custom machines from drawings, or verbal instructions. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience assembling or repairing industrial equipment.

You will work from prints, keep the area clean, and ensure safety in all operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1+ years in manufacturing or mechanical work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing or mechanical work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with cars or mechanical background is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand hydraulic components.
• Basic understanding of 12V wiring.

Responsibilities

• Build custom, made-to-order machines per drawings or verbal instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and safety practices.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and sketches.
• Operate hand tools, air tools, overhead cranes, and forklift as needed.
• Lift 50–75 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
• Fluently read/write/speak English.
