Job summary

Nautilus Homes in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver luxury custom homes. You will lead multiple projects, manage budgets, schedules, and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, architects, designers, and trade partners.

This role requires outstanding communication, a background in custom residential construction, Procore and MS Project proficiency, and a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and client experience in a collaborative, high-performance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in custom residential construction.
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience.
• Experience managing luxury custom homes preferred.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and financial management skills.
• Procore certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple custom home projects with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners, architects, designers, and consultants.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.
• Monitor budgets, contracts, change orders, forecasting, and milestone billing.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
• Partner with Superintendents to align field operations with goals.
• Conduct site visits to verify workmanship and safety.
• Oversee documentation, RFIs, submittals, inspections, and closeout activities.
• Identify project risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple custom home projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, designers, and consultants
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners throughout construction
• Monitor project budgets, contracts, change orders, forecasting, and milestone billing
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Partner with Superintendents to ensure field operations align with project goals
• Conduct regular site visits to verify workmanship, safety, and project progress
• Oversee project documentation, RFIs, submittals, inspections, and closeout activities
• Identify project risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving forward

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in custom residential construction
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience
• Experience managing luxury custom homes preferred
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and financial management skills
• Proficiency with Procore and construction management software (Procore certification is a plus)
• Experience using Microsoft Project
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Working knowledge of Florida residential construction, permitting, and building codes
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Sarasota area
