Job summary

Nautilus Homes in Sarasota, FL seeks an Assistant Project Manager who has just graduated or has up to 2 years in construction. You will support our Project Management team on residential custom homes, learning the processes that deliver high-quality projects from ground up.

You'll work alongside seasoned project managers and superintendents, gain hands-on leadership experience, and build a long-term career with a respected Florida builder. Onsite with a collaborative, family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of construction experience through internships or full-time work.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working both in the office and on active construction sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning and coordinating residential construction projects
• Help maintain project schedules and monitor progress
• Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and homeowners
• Attend project meetings and document action items
• Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and project progress
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation
• Maintain organized project files using construction management software
• Support problem-solving and help keep projects moving forward
