Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate at the Hart-Southington, CT location. You will build relationships with customers, help them create custom framing solutions, process transactions, and maintain a well-merchandised store environment.

Core responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking, and supporting omni-channel processes, with nights, weekends, and early mornings as part of the schedule. Prior retail framing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Retail experience and customer service experience are preferred.
• Experience selling products or services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store, help them locate products, and provide solutions.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions according to SOPs.
• Maintain the framing department and display areas, ensuring stock and pricing accuracy.
• Support omni-channel processes to fulfill customer orders and inquiries.
• Follow SOPs, company policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
