Michaels Store CHI-ORLAND PARK, IL is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers find framing solutions, assist with checkout, and maintain a clean, well-stocked shop. You will enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs, support omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS, and participate in truck unloads and planograms.

This role requires retail or customer service experience, physical ability to stand and lift, and a commitment to safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

Retail or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy items.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to stay in-stock and well merchandised.
Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
Interacting with team members professionally; be a role model.
Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
