Job summary

Michaels stores in CHI-NORRIDGE, IL are seeking a store associate to build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions. You will help customers shop, complete framing orders on time, and maintain a well merchandised, in-store experience.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, supporting Omni-channel processes, stocking, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment. Evening and weekend shifts may be required; retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred; experience selling products/services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and related areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop for products.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes and in-store merchandising.
• Support truck unloading, stocking, and inventory procedures.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash to SOP.
• Acknowledge customers, locate products and provide solutions.
