Job summary

Michaels is seeking a framing-focused associate in North Riverside, IL to design and assemble custom frames, assist customers, and maintain a stocked, welcoming store environment.

You will build relationships with customers while helping them choose framing solutions for art, photos, prints, or jerseys, and handle sales through the cash register. The role requires attention to SOPs and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions and deliver sales/results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
