Job summary

Michaels in Midlothian, VA is seeking a Store Associate to assist customers, complete framing orders, and keep the store well merchandised. You will operate the cash register, stock shelves, and support Omni channel processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to SOPs, and delivering a helpful shopping experience for customers. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter is required.
• Retail experience and experience selling products and/or services to customers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking to meet standards and budget.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas (SISO/Directed Replenishment).
• Follow shrink and safety programs.
