Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a part-time Framing Associate to assist customers, help them find framing solutions, and complete framing orders with high quality and on-time delivery. This role requires standing for long periods in a busy retail setting with a focus on accuracy and customer care.

You will maintain a well-merchandised store, operate the cash register, and support omni-channel processes while adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and assist customers in selecting framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on-time delivery.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas (SISO, replenishment).
• Operate cash register and handle cash according to SOPs.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop in a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
