Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Stafford, VA is seeking a Custom Framing Associate to build customer relationships and deliver framing solutions. You will help customers shop, create custom frames, and maintain a safe, organized store.

Responsibilities include completing framing orders on time, operating the cash register, supporting Omni-channel processes, and following SOPs. The role requires basic computer and measuring skills and prior retail experience.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and other areas.
• Stock and unload trucks as needed.
