Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Mankato, MN is seeking a Store Associate to build relationships with customers and help them create custom framing solutions while ensuring a safe, clean, and well-merchandised store.

You will complete framing orders with high quality and on time, operate the cash register, support omni-channel processes, and uphold SOPs while delivering friendly customer service in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail or customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and guide them to framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with accuracy and on time.
• Maintain merchandising and in-stock conditions in the ready-made frame area.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standard.
• Support Omni-channel processes and store procedures.
• Follow SOPs and company programs.
