Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a customer-focused associate in Burnsville, MN to help customers create custom framing solutions and shop the store. You will build relationships, process framing orders with care, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store environment.

You will also support SOPs, safety programs, and Omni channel processes while assisting with truck unloading and stocking tasks. The role requires staying on your feet for long periods and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Experience in retail is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Deliver high-quality framing orders on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and related areas.
• Provide friendly customer service; help customers shop and locate products.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and truck unload/stocking as needed.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Interact respectfully with coworkers and customers.
