Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate to help customers find framing solutions, build relationships, and ensure a clean, well merchandised store environment. You will assist customers, process framing orders on time, and operate the cash register in a fast-paced retail setting.

Prior retail experience is preferred; hours include evenings and weekends as needed, with opportunities to support omni-channel processes and in-store merchandising.

Qualifications

• basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating framing solutions and helping customers shop.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help locate product and provide solutions.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
