Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years in custom metal fabrication and welding.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication specs.
• Welding non‑ferrous metals, especially aluminum and stainless steel.
• Experience with TIG/GTAW and MIG/GMAW welding.
• Ability to perform precision fit‑up and welding on custom components.
• Accurate measurement, fit, alignment, and inspection of components.
• Experience identifying weld distortion and alignment issues.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, work orders, and specifications.
• Fit, fabricate, tack, and weld aluminum, stainless steel, and other non‑ferrous components.
• Perform MIG/GMAW and TIG/GTAW welding as required by the job.
• Prepare, clean, and position materials prior to welding.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances before, during, and after welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, appearance, penetration, and conformance.
